THERE'S a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the National Trust's Cotehele Estate and at the same time raise funds for charity 'Hearing Dogs for Deaf People' on October 26, by taking part in a sponsored walk.

There are two routes to choose from; a four mile yomp around the estate or an easy one and a half mile level walk alongside the river, suitable for all ages and abilities.

Janine Sargent, the charity's regional fundraiser in the south west said: 'As well as enjoying a scenic stroll, you will be able to meet some of the south west's working hearing dogs and hearing dog puppies so please join us and help to raise funds to train more of these special dogs.'

There will be a commemorative medal and a certificate for every participant.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will receive a special treat of their own at the end of the walk. Entry is £3 for adults, £1 for children/OAPs. To take part, call Janine on 01208 79786.
