PHOTOGRAPHS of the working Dartmoor of yesteryear are on display in the latest exhibition of photographs to be staged at the Salar Gallery, Hatherleigh. Most of the old photographs in the exhibition come from a remarkable single source by kind permission of Tom and Mairi Hunt. The Hunt family have farmed in Lustleigh and Manaton parishes for more than 100 years with forebear C A Hunt one of the earliest photographers of farming life on Dartmoor. The ?Dartmoor Trust? ? through John Earle of Widecombe ? has kindly provided photos for the exhibition that runs from March 26 until April 30.
