A WIDE variety of sports and entertainment for all the family takes place in South Zeal this weekend when the annual Zale Fayre is held on the recreation ground.

The two-day event starts at 2pm on Saturday, with football and netball during the afternoon, a duck race, car boot sale, bouncy castle and a Punch and Judy Show.

Refreshments will be available in the form of a barbecue, cream teas and a bar and there will be plenty of stalls.

On Sunday, the fun continues at 2pm, when there will be cricket and tennis matches plus more stalls.
