I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with Mike Hooper's letter of the other week and that of the lady who wrote recently about the Dog Order for Courtlands Park. I walk my dogs at 5am most mornings.  This has been their routine for the past ten years.  I put them on their leads if there are ever any children about or dogs they don't know.  I know and understand my dogs' behaviour. Last week I was verbally abused by a man who had his dog on a lead and had pretended to pick up dog mess when he hadn't.   On Saturday afternoon I counted five dogs off their leads amongst children playing in the park. Would a curfew not have been better? Would fencing the play area not have been better?  I don't understand why this order has been brought in if it can't be monitored properly.
