THE Peninsula Players present another Dickens classic this month, produced and directed by Steve Costello and starring young people and adults from the Bere Peninsula.

A Christmas Carol follows the adventures of Ebenezer Scrooge — a miserly old man offered a chance to change by visiting spirits who show him the error of his ways.

The show takes place in the parish hall in Bere Alston on December 10, 11 and 12 December at 7.30pm.

The production includes 21st century special effects, authentic costumes and outstanding set design.

Tickets cost £3.50 for adults, 50p for under fives. Special rates apply for card holding students and groups of more than ten people.
