WHEN I was six I had a brain tumour and had to go into hospital for treatment.
It was not very nice, but the doctors and nurses were kind and looked after me.
My mum and dad say that it was scientists from the Cancer Research Campaign who invented the treatments that helped to make me better.
And they said that all the money to pay for their work is given by volunteers — like the people I see shaking tins outside supermarkets.
December is going to be the Cancer Research Campaign's Children's Cancer Awareness month when the charity will raise even more money to beat illness like mine.
I am going to help them by giving my pocket money and Guess the name of a toy competition proceeds will go to the campaign.
Please will you help raise money for Children's Cancer this Christmas by contacting the Cancer Research Campaign, Unit EI, The Innovation Centre, University of Exeter, or by telephoning 01392 430032.
Thank you.
