Whitchurch Wayfarers v St Stephens
LAST weekend saw a real chalk and cheese set of results for the Wayfarers.
Whitchurch played home to top of the league St Stephens and with the visiting side battling first they quickly saw the effectiveness of Chris Marshall as he produced a rapid-fire 55.
But the Whitchurch bowlers recovered and with Wood (3-22) claiming the prize scalp the others returned to their usual tight bowling, Mills returning the best figures of 4-25.
St Stephens were dismissed for 125 all out leaving the home side winning on 126 runs for 5 wickets.
This week home to Brentor.

Whitchurch Wayfarers v Ivybridge
WHITCHURCH's good run of form came to an end as they managed to cling on for a losing draw after travelling to Ivybridge.
Ivybridge were invited to bat first and were in trouble at 28-3. But a stand of 71 between Teague (34) and Robertson (42) for the fourth wicket turned things in their favour.
Whitchurch fought back with Bright taking 4 for 46 reducing Ivybridge to 137 for 8.
Two wickets each were claimed by MacDougal and Davies after which Greenhouse (25 no) and Abraham (22 no) put on a vital ninth wicket partnership of 39.
Ivybridge closed on 176 for 8. Whitchurch fielded well with fine catches by Gavin and Richard Hall and skipper Tony Richardson.
In reply, Whitchurch were tied down by a good spell of bowling from Robertson, who returned figures 2 for 16 off 13 overs.
They continued to lose wickets as the run chase was stepped up. At 65 for 6, the game looked over, but 27 from Mansfield and a couple of good partnerships with Bright and MacDougal left a glimmer of hope in the Whitchurch camp.
With the loss of the eighth wicket to Witcher (3-40), Whitchurch settled in for a draw, Davies and Tamblin blocking out the remaining 4 overs as the innings closed on 140 for 9.
Whitchurch claimed 8 points and are away at Roborough this Saturday.
