A BEAUTIFUL bounty of bluebells are in bloom now and there is no better time to enjoy them than this Bank Holiday weekend. Two special bluebell walks will be open at Chenson Farm, near Eggesford, on Sunday, May 4 and Monday, May 5 — visitors can also enjoy cream teas served at the farm. Youngsters from Chulmleigh are helping to organise the event including providing the publicity, planning a nature trail and serving the teas. The walks are open from 2pm until 6pm and cost £1.50. All money raised will help support the work of Connect who work in schools across Devon including Okehampton, Crediton and Chulmleigh. Chenson Farm is on the A377 between Lapford and Eggesford.
