I AM not a person who usually puts pen to paper but I felt I had to reply to Ross Grayson's letter (March 11) regarding his disgust at people writing 'clean me' on the back of his dirty car.

Firstly, I am very proud of the 'juveniles' in this part of the country when you compare them to the ones we have seen on the television, burning down buildings and looting.

Secondly, if you don't want to get your car dirty then don't come to Devon and Cornwall. A bit of dirt never hurt anyone!
