AN Okehampton man has appeared at Exeter Magistrates’ Court charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in Okehampton on Friday, March 9.

It is alleged that Daniel Rock, aged 30, robbed Sarah Dominey of cash to the value of £50 and also that he had on his possession a large hunting knife in Fore Street.

At the hearing on Thursday, March 15, Daniel Rock, 30, was remanded in custody and the case was adjourned to Exeter Crown Court for trial. No plea was indicated and the next hearing will take place on April 12.
