SEE the Christmas story unfolding in the historic buildings of Morwellham Quay at 2.30pm on Sunday (December 19) when congregation members and friends of St Paul’s Church, Gulworthy present the age-old story of the nativity.

Everyone is invited to join in carols with the Stannary Brass Band, who hail from Tavistock, and witness Mary and Joseph arriving in Bethlehem to discover that no room could be found for them except for in a stable behind an inn. Those coming along to watch the performance are invited to dress up as locals of that time – be they Romans, shepherds or angels – to help them feel part of the story of Jesus’ birth, with the assurance that this is optional.
