FIRE crews had to rescue an elderly man trapped in a vehicle in Yelverton at 2.15pm today (Monday).

A crew from Yelverton and one from Crownhill attended the incident on the road past Greenwell Farm, where they found a vehicle that had rolled over after leaving the road and ended up in a field. The elderly male driver was released from the vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment and stabilising equipment. He was then treated by paramedics.
