FIREFIGHTERS were called to the Tourist Information Car Park at Postbridge last Friday (October 6) after a report of a car on fire.

One crew from Princetown and a crew from Chagford attended just before 11.30pm and found a car, which had collided with a tree, well-alight.

Firefighters used specialist equipment as well as rescue cutting tools in order to extinguish the fire.
