A FIRE crew from Bere Alston tackled a motorcycle blaze at Quarry Corner, Bere Alston just after 5.30pm on Saturday.

When the crew arrived, it found the motorbike to be well alight and used a hose reel and small tools to extinguish the fire.

The local highways team was also requested to attend the incident due to the tarmac being damaged.
