A child has been injured in a collision with a car outside the skatepark in Okehampton this afternoon.

Police said the child was ’conscious and breathing’ after the accident mid-afternoon on North Road.

The Devon air ambulance attended and treated the boy at the scene. Crew went with him in a land ambulance for a check up in hospital in Exeter.
