FIRE crews were called to assist ambulance personnel after a man fell from a bridge at Lower Goodameavy on Saturday.

A crew from Yelverton and a crew from Crownhill attended the incident at 7.42pm to provide assistance to the ambulance service with a male that had fallen from a disused railway bridge near Yelverton.

Crews provided assistance by stabilising the casualty.
