POLICE in Callington are appealing for information following a number of incidents that have taken place in the town recently.

Information is being sought by police following a break-in to a property in Callington early on Tuesday morning.

A property in Willow Close was broken into at around 6.05am and police are interested in hearing from anyone who recognises the description of the offender.

The male is described as white, of pale complexion with blue eyes and in his mid to late 20s. He was of average build, approximately 5ft 8ins tall with no facial hair. He was wearing a pale grey beanie hat and a short dark coat.

The male entered the property from the back garden and left the same way after being disturbed by the family dog who alerted the owner.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Callington police on 101.

Officers are also appealing for witnesses to an incident that took place in the Co-op car park on Friday, September 25.

The incident took place between 3.15pm and 3.30pm, just after the end of the school day, and involved a Mazda Bongo, the occupants and a passing member of the public.

Callington Police are also investigating a burglary to a property on Tavistock Road, on the morning of Tuesday, October 6.

Between 6am and 7am, a black, mock crocodile Betty Barclay bag was stolen.
