YELVERTON reached 184-6 in their alloted overs with Paul Farnham 82 and Jamie Wright 47 not out contributing a partnership of 111 for the fourth wicket. Brian Spear added 21.

Father and son pair of Ian and Cameron Dawe opened the bowling for Yelverton with Dawe senior taking the bowling honours with figures of 24-5.

His son Cameron took 17-1 while skipper Ben Spear also made a useful contribution with a spell of 2-26.

This left Lewdown (5pts) bowled out for 130 in 40.4 overs to leave Yelverton (20pts) winners by 54 runs.
