TAVISTOCK completed the double over Millbrook with this incisive victory. They also gave 17- year-old Will Vockens his senior debut.

The home team got off to the perfect start creating a couple of early chances which they failed to convert. They took a deserved lead in the 20th minute when Deej Moore provided the perfect cross for Jack Crago to head home. It was Moore who added the second on the half hour when his cross come shot flew into the net.

Millbrook had a good chance to reduce the arrears but the shot was dragged wide of the target.

Just before the interval another fine move resulted in young Bailey Williams flashing the ball home from 14 yards.

The second half saw the Lambs continue to dominate possession but Moore fired over the bar when well placed. Millbrook reduced the arrears when Sam Roberts headed home from a corner kick. This stunned the Lambs into action as they put the visitors’ defence under intense pressure which resulted in a penalty being awarded to the home team; Jack Crago stepped up and dispatched it with aplomb.

In the 65th minute, Tallan Burns saw his 25-yard thunderbolt crash back off the crossbar.

Tavistock added to their advantage when Jake Gallini providing a clinical finish to a fine passing move. It was left for Jack Crago to complete his hat-trick when he fired home another spot kick to complete the scoring.

This was a good result against a team who have been having a good winning run of results.
