THERE were great achievements all round for Spooners and West Dartmoor Pony Club members at the East Cornwall Pony Club Triathlon at the weekend.

The shooting phase went well for all, and Rio, Megan and Henry all scored the best targets in their classes.

Despite Mediterranean temperatures being predicted, the running field was cold, and after everyone had given of their best we were glad to take sanctuary indoors for the swim!

There were good swims from all, and personal bests from Sam, Holly, Paige, Erin, Beth, Megan and Henry.

The Spooners biathlon team came first and individually Holly was second, Sam fourth and Fynn fifth. Beth won the mixed minimus, and also had the best run in the class. Rio was fourth in the minimus boys, and seniors Megan and Henry were first and second respectively in their classes and also had best swims.
