Moor Tutoring announces exciting summer events

Moor Tutoring has two exciting events happening over the summer holiday!

The first event is Family Art Saturdays in Tavistock Library ,where people from the age of 3 to 100 and beyond can come to unplug from technology and unwind together while painting either ceramics, woodcrafts , clay or canvas. Plus, tea, coffee, biscuits and cake will be available.

The second event takes place this August: ‘Hands-on Adventures in Art, Design and Engineering’ with children aged 5 to 11 (STEAM) in various places around West Devon. This is an opportunity for parents to leave their child for a fun and exciting experience which at the same time provides you with child care. It is possible for parents to book more than one event.

Rebecca Smith, who runs the service, is a Qualified Primary School Teacher, SENCO, Level 4 Mindfulness Teacher and has also been headteacher of a school in Devon for 11 years.

In total, she has 28 years of experience in the primary education sector, along with an enhanced DBS check, up to date safeguarding training and a pediatric first aid certificate.
