The trustees of the new Lifton Social and Community Centre project are inviting residents to a presentation and exhibition of design concepts for the new building.
The event is being held in the Tamar Room at the Arundell Arms, Lifton, from 7.30pm to 9pm on Tuesday October 13 with Dawn Eckhart, of the Community Council of Devon, attending.
Tavistock-based architect Steve Whettem will introduce three virtual representations of hall concepts for residents to comment on and contribute to.
He said: 'At this stage I will be presenting design options through 3D animation so that people can get an understanding of the ideas that have come forward so far.
'I am really interested in hearing what people have to say.'
Committee member Lavina Marshall said: 'We really want people to come along and give us their point of view. Your voice can make a difference to this project and now is the time to share any concerns or ideas so that they can be incorporated.'
The trustees will be on hand during the exhibition to talk informally about the project.
They will also be looking to capture people's opinions and take contact details of anyone who wants to get involved in making sure that Lifton gets the community facility that it needs and deserves.
Tony Phillips has made a conceptual model of the proposed centre.
