THE sun shone on Simmons Park last Saturday for the first day of the Mid Devon Hunt Pony Club's Mini Tetrathlon. In total 88 competitors from 14 clubs produced some great performances in the shooting, running and swimming phases.
The rain amazingly held off for the whole of the riding phase and the home team put up a brilliant performance to win the team competition with all four members scoring more than 4,000 points.
The organisers thanked all the sponsors who generously supported the event and all who gave up their weekend to help run the competition.
