THE Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue held a Companion Dog Show at Lewdown Victory Hall on Sunday, October 7. Thank you to everyone who supported the show.

The event raised £519. Thanks were expressed to Cheryl Pashley for judging and supporting the charity —  and to all who supported the event.

Winners of the four pedigree classes: AV puppy (6-12 months), Viking (Velda Mawby); AV sporting and best in show, Merlin (Maggie Parkhouse); AV non-sporting, Layla (Chris Wood); AV open and reserve best in show, Fallow (Trish Curran).

Winners of the ten novelty classes: Crossbreed, Jazz (Julia Little); veteran and best in show, Anna (Jill Jones); rescued/rehomed, Kez (Linda Blake); long coat, Titus (Jo Stubbs); short-coat, Pugsey (Lo Walczak); appealing eyes, Tottie (Carole Robson); handsome male and reserve best in show, Bear (Ken Brooks); prettiest female, Lexi (Julia Connett); best movement, Ernest (Sarah Bevan); dog judge would take home, Zola (Mr James).
