THE popular Exeter City Football in the Community roadshows are coming back to Okehampton and North Tawton during the half term holidays.
The popular soccer roadshows, which run in towns across Devon, give boys and girls aged five to 14 the opportunity to improve their football skills, keep fit and have fun in a safe and structured environment.
The roadshow at Okehampton takes place on Thursday, May 30 and costs £15. There is also a roadshow taking place on Friday, May 31 at North Tawton Football Club.
Roadshows are suitable for boys and girls aged from five to 14 and the main focus is fun and participation through team and individual games. All courses are delivered by Exeter City's FA-qualified coaching staff.
'We had a really good time over the Easter holidays and were delighted to see lots of new faces,' said Scott Walker, sports development officer.
'We're hoping the sun comes out this half-term, but regardless of the weather, everyone always has a lot of fun — including the coaches — and it's a great way of keeping kids active during the half-term.'
