OKEHAMPTON youngsters are being invited to join the Reading Maze at Okehampton Library and take an amazing journey through the world of books.
The reading maze is a national reading challenge in libraries during the summer, where children collect a sheet of stickers of reading maze characters each time they return a book, until they complete their journey through the maze and receive a surprise at the end!
An additional bonus for children taking part is a special offer from the Amazing Maize Maze at Bickleigh, near Tiverton, which is offering children free entry to the maze on production of their collector folder, complete with at least one set of stickers.
The Reading Maze scheme is one of a number of activities and story-time events running throughout the summer.

There will also be a special two for the price of one offer on children?s videos running at the library from July 21 to August 3.
l At the recent West Devon Community Fair in Okehampton, Devon Library Services ran a fun quiz asking questions about events which happened on that day in history.
Nobody got all the answers correct, but the nearest entrant was Karen Nolan, who wins a £10 voucher.
For those who entered and are still puzzling over the posers, the answers are now available at Okehampton Library.
