ROADFORD Lake near Broadwoodwidger will be the setting for a varied and interesting selection of exhibitors at this year?s South West Forest Woodfair, being held at the lake on July 12.
The Woodfair promotes and displays the many and varied aspects of the woodland economy in the South West.
In addition to an exhibition of rural skills there will be a number of demonstrations and competitions, demonstrating the varied links that woodland activities have with other rural activities.
It also provides a valuable marketing opportunity for exhibitors in addition to an enjoyable day out for participants and visitors alike.
A spokesman for South West Forest, which is organising the fair, said: ?At last year?s Woodfair, some 3,000 visitors came to see over 90 exhibitors.
?So far this year, with four months to go, we have already had bookings from over 80 exhibitors and demonstrators.
?In addition there will be greater access on the day to the whole site, including cycle ways and guided walks.?
The South West Forest Woodfair provides free parking. Entrance is £3.50 ? under 16s are free.
