THE Tavistock local group of Devon Wildlife Trust has organised a visit to Porfell Wildlife Park on September 13.
Porfell is not a zoo, but a sanctuary for more than 250 exotic animals from all over the world that have been neglected, injured or imported illegally.
Homes are created to suit each species’ individual needs and visitors can feed, touch and get close to the animals. Among the attraction is an animal talk and owls flying.
The Tavistock group of Devon Wilidlife Trust has organised the event, but it is open to anyone. Booking is essential by Monday, September 7.
