FULL of beans! That's North Tawton Community Primary School pupil Tommy Frederick Barter who has just won an Olympic-themed bean bag made to his very own design — in time for the start of the Games.
Tommy was chosen as the winner of a national competition run through schools by the Sleep Council as part of its first-ever 'sleep awareness' education project in primary schools.
One element of the activity was to design an Olympic-themed bean bag.
Tommy on?Friday was presented with the unique bean bag – with his design printed onto a 'Kids Baz Bag' from Bean Bag Bazaar, the UK's leading designer and retailer of bean bags and bean-filled furniture.
In addition to winning a prize for himself, Tommy's top artwork also scooped a £250 sports equipment voucher for his school.
Jessica Alexander, of the Sleep Council, said: 'Tommy's colourful design captured the spirit of the Games as well as the importance of a good bed to a good night's sleep perfectly.
'We had some terrific entries from all over the country so he beat a lot of other children to win.'
