Kelly Bray Women's Institute is looking to set up an evening meeting to appeal to younger members.

The WI ladies meet on the second Tuesday of every month in the afternoon at the Kelly Bray WI Hall.

However, with existing members getting older the ladies are hoping that by encouraging the formation of an evening club younger women may be attracted.

Afternoon member Glenda Hubbard said: 'We understand that some ladies might like to join the WI but are put off by our afternoon meetings. We are looking for ladies who perhaps have children to care for and/or jobs to go to during the day.

Your new evening WI would be run by yourselves for yourselves and you would be free to choose your own speakers, events etc.'
