BERE progressed to the semis against a good team who battled for every ball.
Mark Wheeler got Bere?s first, hitting a 25-yarder through a crowd of players to leave the keeper unsighted.
Good work by Steve Daymond saw his cross hit home by Rob Hawkins.
Bere then gave away a goal in trying to play the offside rule. A goalbound shot was handled and Wheeler slotted home for Bere?s third.
James Aggiss scored Bere?s fourth racing through, and with no support he hit a shot that beat the keeper hands down.
Pensilva responded and Daniel Jeffrey had to be brave on several occasions. From a good save Firth responded quickest to fire home the loose ball.
The second half was end to end and from a Will Westlake through-ball brother Steve volleyed home a cracker.
Pensilva carried the game to Bere and Daniel Jeffrey had to handle several good shots. Bere responded with Darren Halfyard, Will Westlake and Timmy Rowlinson prominent in midfield. Daymond made space for himself and unselfishly laid the ball to Steve Vanstone to score.
This Saturday Duchy division 1 home to St Mawes, 2.30pm kick-off.
