MORE than 100 guides and brownies spent the night at the Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre last Saturday night — part of this year's Giant Sleepover event.

Brownies and guides from Halwill, Stowford, Hatherleigh, Boasley, Bradworthy, Holsworthy and Okehampton spent the night on the dodgems and jungle speedway, while the leaders could be found on the ghost train at Dingles.

They were treated to a special demonstration of the 'Wall of Death', went on the fairground rides, made key rings for their dads, took part in quizes, and sang campfire songs. Each girl received a goody bag when they left.

Holsworthy District Guides would like to thank Waitrose for their support.
