I AM writing to stress the importance of wearing a seat belt as a driver or passenger. I know the majority of people probably do, but there are those that don?t bother or forget to do so; my message is to those people. I was the passenger of a car that went into the lamp post near Pixon Lane roundabout, I was in the front seat and did not have my seatbelt on. I walked away with injuries to my nose, face and arms after shooting forward, hitting the windscreen and dashboard. I am lucky to have lived and not caused serious injury to myself.
