I WAS upset to read of the possible stopping of school buses from Yelverton to local village primary schools. I have no school age children but agree with the parents trying to get youngsters to school. Not only are the roads narrow and busy there are no pavements along many of the roads.

Perhaps other ways could be found!

On Wednesday February 9 I travelled from Yelverton to Tavistock on a single decker bus that had just five passengers. As we left the bus stop a double-decker bus pulled in, also going to Tavistock, with what appeared to be about four passengers! This seems to be an utter waste of services.

Is there no way that services could be reorganised that could include the transport for the younger children in rural areas to get safely to school?
