REPRESENTATIVES from the Devon and Plymouth groups for WASPI — Women Against State Pension Inequality — were in Tavistock recently to raise awareness of their cause.

WASPI is a campaign group that fights inequality in state pensions, particularly regarding the changes to the state pension age of women born in the 1950s. The group agrees with equalisation — bringing the women’s state pension age in line with men’s at 65 — but disagrees with the way the changes were implemented.
