TWO guided walks in aid of St Mary's Church in Walkhampton are being held next Saturday (May 10). Money raised will go towards repairs on the tower, and for a kitchen and toilet to be built. The longer walk, from the church onto the moorland, is a circular walk of five miles, costing £3.50 per person. This will begin at 10am and last approximately three hours. The shorter walk, from the church to the village, is a circular walk of approximately one mile, costing £2 per person. This walk also starts at 10am and will be repeated at 11.30am.
