THERE is a chance to join the South West Lake Trust's conservation officer Richard Smith for a guided walk at Fernworthy Reservoir on Sunday October 16, looking at how the site is managed for conservation and biodiversity.
It was recently discovered that breeding Marsh Fritillary butterfles are at this site, and Richard has led the habitat management that has benefitted this species.
Meet in the main car park at 10am, booking not required, £3 per person donation recommended. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and bring your own refreshments.
