A RARE opportunity to take part in a sponsored walk along the River Tamar is on offer this Saturday to raise funds for All Saints Church at Dunterton.

Everyone is welcome to take part in the seven and a half mile walk which runs in either direction between Beera Farm on the Milton Abbot to Horsebridge road and Greystone Bridge on the B3372.

Passing close to Endsleigh House the walk promises beautiful scenery and gentle terrain ? dogs are welcome on leads and refreshments are available en route from Endsleigh Hams.

The walk, from 11am to 1pm, costs £2.50, 50p for children, and all proceeds go to church funds with an additional donation to Milton Abbot Church fabric fund.

Car parking is available at either starting point and a shuttle service will be in operation to return walkers to their cars.
