MORE than 40 members of 2312 (Tavistock) Squadron ATC were on parade recently to receive an award. The squadron raised a fantastic £1,660 for the RAFA charity in their annual Top Flight competition. The cadets? abseil from Tavistock Town Hall earlier this year was judged to be the best fundraising initiative in the South West region ? the unit was national runner up. Personnel from the RAFA headquarters in Leicester travelled to Tavistock to mark the squadron?s achievement and presented members with a framed Red Arrows print and an autographed book. The squadron was congratulated on its achievements which were greatly appreciated by the RAFA charity. Group Captain Mike Remlinger presented gliding wings to Cdt Cpl Vicky Lister, a framed photo to Cdt Sgt Andy Harris for his Ten Tors achievement and radio communicator badges to Cdt Sgt James Thomas, Cdt Sgt Sarah Roberts, Cdt Cpl Spencer Parkhouse and Cdt Callum Thomas.
