A VARIETY concert will be staged in Okehampton tomorrow (Friday), to raise money to help with the restoration of a church organ. The concert, organised by Dave England, will be held in Fairplace Church. Dave, a singer and entertainer, will be joined on stage by Helen Palmer, a violinist and vocalist from Tavistock, Roger Partridge, a comedian and storyteller and Marlene Butler, a soprano from Exeter. Organist for the evening will be John Holland and Jean Wall will be pianist. The event starts at 7.30pm. Tickets, £5, are available at the door.
