THE clock was turned back to the Victorian era at Lydford Primary on Friday when the school held its Christmas Fair.
Pupils and staff got into the spirit of the Victorian-themed event with a fantastic costumed mufti-day.
Parents, staff and villagers were generous with their donations of cakes, tombola and raffle prizes, and there were a number of donations from businesses, including Kaleidoscope, Morrisons, Coop, Somerfield, Lidl, Tesco and Ambrosia — for the mountains of custard and rice pudding, which made sure everyone had something to take home!
So far the school has raised £220. More to be added later thanks to the help of Poppy the pony who, dressed as a reindeer, posed for photos with the children.
