THE Third Wren Music Night comes to Okehampton with even more talented performers from the world of Roots and Acoustic Music.
The concert will be held at the Octagon Theatre, Okehampton College, on Saturday May 31.
Following the last, very successful evening, Wren has carefully chosen performers guaranteed to appeal to everyone.
Chris Foster is an outstanding singer and guitarist.
Particularly well-known as a powerful and passionate performer of narrative songs, he also writes refreshing, honest guitar arrangements.
Also performing are the well-known local group the Barn Owls duo, comprising Peter Lee on fiddle and James Sneyd on piano accordion.
The duo has, in recent years, extended its repertoire from Celtic and English tunes to include Klezmer and East European traditional music and has played at several local venues as the Barn Owls Klezmer Duo.
The Posse are four women using strong a-capella singing with lots of energy and humour.
They possess a confident, vigorous style and harmonies that will alternately soothe and thrill.
Wren Music Nights have been praised for their variety and quality and are a great opportunity for everyone in and around Okehampton to enjoy a truly entertaining Saturday night out.
The bar for the evening is provided by the Plymouth Inn, Okehampton and will stock a great selection of beverages from fine real ale to wine and soft drinks.
Concert tickets cost £5/£3 concessions and the bar opens at 7.30pm with the concert beginning 8pm prompt.
