As a member of Tourism and Marketing Strategy Table 3, I am sure I speak for our project leaders for Lopwell Dam and Yelverton Walks in expressing our appreciation for this opportunity. We were enabled to make valuable links with each other and inter-related project leaders building good foundations for future work.
I would personally like to thank Andrew Young and Pamela as well as David Cox, my fellow Drake?s Trail Initiative team member and chair of our table, for helping to move Drake?s Trail forward through our presentation.
West Devon Borough Council?s contribution to the feasibility study was of material benefit in enabling us to put together our presentation to include our further research and strategy, which I believe led to such positive reception and valuable guidance from potential funders on how best to proceed.
May this be the first of similar days when those who contribute of their time, effort and expertise to our community are acknowledged and appreciated. The Brokerage Day provided a good opportunity and evidence of the value of working together for the benefit of all.
