AN ANNUAL bike ride in memory of a Horrabridge woman, which has raised £8,000 since 2009 for different charities, will this year take in a 190-mile route from Bristol to the Brecon Beacons and back again.
Steve Vanstone and six team-mates will be tackling the challenge over the next two days in memory of Steve's mother, Theresa Vanstone, who died five and a half years ago.
Steve, along with Tim Payne, Mike Lyddon, Stu Corbett, Ben Moore, Ross Hann and Paul Gordon, has signed up for the hardest challenge to date. Last year saw a few accidents so they are hoping that this year will be less bloody!
The men are riding for the STEPS charity, which supports individuals, families and carers affected by lower limb conditions like club-foot — Steve's two-year-old son Taylor Vanstone has the condition.
To sponsor the men go to the just giving website, Sponsor a Friend, enter 'Steve Vanstone' and donate.
