MOUNT House School has enjoyed a hugely successful rugby season, now ended after the 1st VIIs visit to the Rosslyn Park Sevens in London.
Again, the school is pleased to have run eight teams,with sides taking the field at U9, U10, U11, U12 and U13 level.
The U9s took pride of place among the junior teams.
The A team won two tournaments and lost only two out of their 21 matches. Even better, the B team was undefeated in 11 matches and they too won two tournaments.
The U11s enjoyed a wonderful end to their season with a tour to the Channel Isands for a tournament run by St Michael's, Jersey.
Fellow visitors, Bedford School and Colston's Collegiate, proved difficult opposition, but the hosts and Victoria College, Jersey were both well beaten.
In the senior school, the 2nd XV won all of its matches and the 1st XV reached the finals of the National Prep School U13 XVs Tournament.
In the finals, the 1st XV lost only one match, to the eventual winners, and can be proud of the Plate Trophy they brought back to Tavistock.
