Tavistock Ladies 0 Feniton 1 TAVISTOCK Ladies were up against Feniton who are second in the division and looking to keep Tavistock off their heels. From the start Tavistock played some of their best football this season. Candy Capeling kept the defence strong and stopped Feniton from breaking through. Donna Hone and Kirsty Jones had control of the wings, sending good balls through for Rachel Javan to attack. Partnered with Rhianne Parsons the strikers broke down Feniton?s defence, but could not beat the keeper. Steph Morgan and Sam Payne worked hard in midfield, but Payne had to give up the fight after 35 minutes with a calf injury. Kate Atkinson joined the battle with good attacks through the middle. The second half saw Laura Phillip handle the attacks at left back and Laura Corrales clearing the ball up to midfield. Tavistock stepped up a gear with Louise Galway and Donna Hone breaking down the right, but it still was not Tavistock?s day for finishing. In the 74th minute Feniton broke down Tavistock?s defence and scored. After a bad clash Rachel Javan was taken to hospital by ambulance and Tavistock had to continue with ten players.
