IDENTICAL teenage twins Laura and Sarah Gomersall recently competed in the Great Britain Modern Pentathlon trials at Millfield School. Laura was selected for the Great Britain team and Sarah is reserve.
Laura is the National MPG Triathlon Champion (running, shooting and swimming) and Sarah was second in the National Championships at Wolverhampton earlier this year. She is also National Tetrathlon Champion (running, shooting, swimming and fencing.)
The 2002 European Championships are being held in Paris this week where Laura will compete in the individual, team and team relay competitions and is hoping to improve on her 15th place in the European Championships in Spain last year.
