TOURING in support of their new album 'Ten Leagues Beyond the Wild Worlds End' (Native Spirit NSBH CD005), Wales based Bluehorses bring their unique and stunning live roadshow to The Wharf, Tavistock on Saturday, March 2 at 8pm.

Fronted by the twin electric fiddles of vocalist Liz Prendergast and Debs Peake, the band is led by drummer Nic Waulker who, with Liz, writes and arranged the songs. The lineup is completed by the spatial funky bass of Chinese-Dutch Rob Khoo. Multi-instrumentalist Liz also adds Space-mandolin, Hammond organ, Moog synthesizer and electric Celtic Harp to the proceedings.

Bluehorses have spent much of the last six years on the road, honing their performing and songwriting skills, stunning festival audiences from Spain to Denmark via Luxembourg, Holland, Belgium and even Orkney.

Starting out where others fear to tread, the band's music is a genuine hybrid fusing traditional elements from the Celtic nations with an eclectic mix of contemporary rhythms, classic rock interludes and thoughtful, witty lyrics.

Filled with passion, intensity, flair and good old fashioned fun. Bluehorses have certainly struck a chord with the public and media alike and their visit marks a welcome return to the Wharf.
