THE award-winning ‘Ragged Victorians’ will be back in town this autumn as part of the Tavistock Heritage Festival.
The ‘Ragged Victorians — The Great Unwashed’ is a living history group, re-enacting the lives of the lower classes of Victorian England and they will be joining a host of other performers, speakers, historians, artisans and re-enactors to create unforgettable experiences and learning throughout the four day festival.
Supported by the Rotary Club of Tavistock, the Heritage Festival will run from Friday , October 30 to Monday, November 2. Details of the programme of events are now available at www.tavistockheritagefestival.org.uk
