AT Tavistock Golf Club's annual prize giving the two captains, Richard Wraith and Sally Timpson, had a busy time in presenting more than 80 trophies, medals and prizes.
Sweeping the board in the men's section was Ken Kendall, who won a record four trophies and was twice runner-up in other competitions.
Jan Walls also had a successful year and collected three trophies plus two runner-up prizes in the ladies.
In the junior section, 13-year-old Alexander Humphrey not only won two of the junior trophies together with a runner-up prize, but also beat the men in winning the Luxton Trophy.
He was also the winning junior on President's Day.
The men's club champion for 2009, for the second year running, was Alan Gawman while Nicky Gawman was the successful lady club champion.
